What is Latisse® Lash Enhancer?
Latisse® a Health Canada approved, prescription treatment for patients with inadequate eyelashes. For those looking for longer, thicker, darker eyelashes, Latisse® Lash Enhancer is an extremely effective non-surgical method to boost the natural growth of your lashes.
Much like Botox®, Latisse® Lash Enhancer is a happy discovery: when researchers began using Lumigan® to treat glaucoma, they realized that it not only helped with controlling eye pressure; the treatment also promoted longer and thicker eyelashes. From that point of discovery, Latisse® was born.
At Midtown, we help our patients who are prescribed Latisse® Lash Enhancer to achieve longer, thicker and darker eyelashes: the full and dramatic results you’ve been looking for!
How Does Latisse® Lash Enhancer Work?
Latisse® Lash Enhancer uses bimatoprost as its active ingredient. One drop of Latisse® onto an eyeliner brush that’s then applied to the top of your lashes brings longer, fuller lashes. While not entirely understood scientifically, it has been discovered to extend the growth phase of eyelashes and increase their density.
After just 2-10 weeks of regular application, you will notice:
- 25% longer lashes
- 106% increase in thickness and fullness
- 18% darker lashes
